Google Analytics sends your visitors' data to Google. Matomo needs a separate installation. This module stores everything in your WordPress database.
No cookies
The module sets no cookie on the visitor: no consent banner to manage for statistics.
No sub-processor
The data stays on your server: no external service to declare in your privacy policy.
GDPR from the first install
The IP address is anonymised by default, with no extra setting. The settings cover anonymisation, exclusions and retention period.
What you see
Thirty days of audience: page views, sessions, distinct addresses, bounce. The visit detail gives the page, the source, the device and the country. The live view shows who is on the site right now.
Requirements and licence
WordPress 6.5 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later, PHP 7.4 to 8.3. 39 €, once: perpetual licence. The optional renewal (19 €/year) only covers updates and support. Without a licence key entered, the module contacts no server.
